In a time when community educational and extra-curricular programs are rapidly being cut, the community needs something like HellaPigeons! Our 1st HellaPigeons Community Arts Festival will be hosted at Jack London Square on July 29th 2012 in Oakland and our 2nd Arts Festival will be In the Fall TBD in Los Angeles. These events will bring about thousands of participants and attendees of the local eco-conscious, progressive, independent, creative community. Extensive promotion is being done throughout the Bay Area, the Central Valley, and Los Angeles within the next several weeks. This is a huge opportunity to gain exposure throughout California as well as doing something positive for your community!

We are running the festival on donated equipment, recycled objects, monetary donations, and volunteering talent. We will have amplified sound, a wall for live painting, displays of art work, holding various workshops, vending food and non-food items, and much more. We believe that every individual needs a platform to display his/her creativity. HellaPigeons Community Arts Festivals will strengthen the community through arts and create positive energy that must be shared and embrace.

Any additional donations and/or references you can make would be much appreciated.

Hella City and Pet Pigeons bring you HellaPigeons Community Arts Festivals

Bay Area and Los Angeles 2012!

Danielle D. is an independent artist who values every art form as a social adhesive, a therapy, a factor of emotional health, and a means of expression. She started doodling and making playful jewelry as a child, and never focused on it until later in life. After high school, she dove back into drawing and other forms of art. Taking several art classes throughout college alongside her major, and graduating with a bachelor of arts degree in Sociology, Danielle has a unique view on the healing power of art. In 2011 after graduating from Sonoma State University, she started her company, HellaCity. HellaCity is a company that embodies what the San Francisco Bay Area, and any other city, is all about-diversity. Using different creative mediums, HellaCity embraces the Bay‟s urban edge, as well as it‟s majestic natural elements. Danielle added a jewelry component to HellaCity in late 2011, and has had a driving passion for it ever since! Using recycled materials from the city and objects found in nature, she strives to create unique jewelry that bonds the wearer to his/her roots. HellaCity also extends an opportunity to every creative individual to create a piece of HellaCity art (masquerade masks, canvases, etc) and share it with the world. We believe that art is the universal language! Each festival will promote positive vibrations, and give every artist a chance to get their message across. We envision this event bringing the creative community together throughout California, and eventually throughout the world!
